This award recognizes a Neurology faculty member who demonstrates excellence in undergraduate medical education. Emphasis is placed on outstanding clinical teaching, including bedside instruction, case-based discussions, clear and effective communication, and the ability to actively engage learners.
Additional consideration is given to contributions to undergraduate curriculum development, meaningful impact on student learning, and effective mentorship that supports trainees’ academic and professional development, including encouraging interest in neurology as a career.
