Biography and Research Interest:

Dr. Nikkie Randhawa completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, followed by a Masters in Neuropsychology Cum Lade at Maastricht University in The Netherlands. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine and completed residency training in neurology here in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia, followed by fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

She is a board certified neurologist in Canada (FRCPC) and the US (ABPN), with subspecialty training in Electromyography (EMG / ABEM) and Electroencephalography (EEG). She runs a busy comprehensive general neurology practice in Vancouver, seeing higher acuity patients at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), providing outreach to Haida Gwaii (NHA), in addition to teaching medical students and residents through her academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia.
